Right, I wrongly assumed that it links against BioCocoa.

So most probably we might simply release sequenceconverter.app
completely independant from BioCocoa?

I'm yavor-guest, but maybe it is a good idea to see my patches first :-)

Well, several people read the commit mails and reverting something
should be no problem at all. So there is no need to hesitate.

BTW, when doing the actual packaging I was wondering whether a cdbs
module for GNUmake might make sense.

There is: /usr/share/cdbs/1/rules/gnustep.mk. I'll convert biococoa to
use CDBS then, right?

Ahh, that's great - I just not realsied this. Conversion to CDBS
would be perfectly OK.

If you are undergoing some renewal of GNUstep issues this might be an
interesting thing to do

Yes, although I'm not a fan of CDBS, personally.

Well, I would not call myself a fan - but it works quite good for
team maintainance because you can have a good overview quite quickly.
But only if it fits - there are more complex packages which just
create headaches if you try to turn them to CDBS. Just decide
what you would regard reasonable for the specific case - it's fine
if you keep the current packaging.

Kind regards

        Andreas.
