Jeff and Andreas,
There is also a license difference between FreeB and REMITT. FreeB is
GPL while REMITT is MPL (mozilla public license). Contrary to what
REMITT.Org says (http://www.remitt.org/license.html), MPL is not
compatible with GPL. (http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/license-list.html)
Mozilla is undergoing a re-licensing effort (converting to triple
GPL/LGPL/MPL) precisely because MPL is not GPL-compatible - and MPL is not
Debian-Free (http://lists.debian.org/debian-legal/2004/06/msg00221.html).
I bring this up because REMITT and FreeB have the potential to be widely
used and incorportated in many free EMR in the future. Usig MPL may impede
incorporation of REMITT into official Debian and it could turn out that we
need to continue to use and develop FreeB because of the license
difference.

...

Best regards,

Andrew
