The argument "Look, this works ! Therefor everything like it works, too !" does not hold. Of course, it is possible to reuse the Person class/table. However, the difficulties do not lie in the things that are similar but in the things that are different. I wonder why SAP does not try to be a practice management application ? I suppose they have a good reason. Also I wonder, why SAP isn't to be found in businesses of any kind below a certain size ? Makes you wonder.
