Bug#1007192: libmateweather1: Errors trying to access (UK) Met Office
Package: libmateweather1
Version: 1.26.0-1
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream
X-Debbugs-Cc: hilary.snaden@zoho.com
When the weather applet updates it sends three or four error logs to /var/log/messages and /var/log/syslog, like
Mar 13 02:37:39 xxx mateweather-app[1910]: Failed to get Met Office forecast data: 404 Not Found.
This is repeated for every instance of the applet using a UK location, for example with desktops created for Xrdp. It occurs on all three of my bookworm/testing boxes.
The weather data displayed appears to be (correct) airport Metar data.
