Hi all, I have started preparing the first MATE 1.22 packages today. For already prepared packages, you will notice an updated Git repository, with an "upload to unstable (debian/1.22.<x>)" commit msg as master/HEAD. However, the git tag belonging to that upload commit will only arrive in that git repository when the actual upload has happened. This procedure (pushing the commit, but holding back the tag) is to assure that noone interferes with the upload preparation workflow and pushes commits that don't end up in the next upload. If you have questions or contributions, please ping me on #debian-mate IRC channel, so we can coordinate things there...Thanks+Greets, MikePS: I will approximately work on 2-3 packages per day, so this will take a while to finish (and until the final uploads appear in Debian unstable).
Just FTR, the bundle upload has happened last Thursday, some follow-up fixups until today.
Packages should tumble out of unstable into testing within the next couple of days.
Please test... (if you notice that some package is not yet in testing, please install it from unstable, esp. mate-settings-daemon needed a follow-up upload today, so it will arrive in testing 3 times later as the rest of the MATE packages).
(Maybe I should have delayed the mate-settings-daemon upload, I think now... But well...).
