Hi, MATE in stable is 1.20, so only one release less than the newest due to freeze on March. 1.22 is being packaging to unstable. May be backported but it is a hard work, I think the team will focus on packaging completely 1.22 for Bullseye. Is there some intention to get that updated so it eventually flows into Stable or Backports? Thanks, Mark
MATE 1.22 has now landed in Debian unstable. I will look into backporting everything around September / October (after Ubuntu 19.10 has been released). This gives us time to consolidate issues popping up via test cycles of the Ubuntu MATE 19.10 release.
