Hi again Peter, This is just a heads-up for the 4.1+Debian4 upload of src:lsb that puts the "info blocks go to the left" code into a file of its own: /lib/lsb/init- functions.d/20-left-info-blocks. Any other package (or an admin) can now either dpkg-divert it [0] or provide a /lib/lsb/init-functions.d/30-right-info-blocks that could put the info blocks on the right. I would be open to accept patches (including the "right" info blocks code) to make this easier trough alternatives though.
