Sorry for the late reply. Did you get these issues figured out?FWIW, alien will usually require the RPM. The tarballs in the "bundles" section are tarballs of RPMs. They should convert easily with "alien -ick <pkg>".
I'd recommend grabbing DTK Manager (package "lsb-dtk-manager" in the repository, or available in the bundles); it will download the other tests.
