Re: Building Customised ISO

Dear List,

I thank you for your previous help in getting me started to customise my own Debian 10 Live XFCE for my university project.

Until now i have been able to :

1. Prepare env for build.
2. add my preference software to be included in my live and installable build.
3. add my script file into the build.

Now i was wonder if i could run mysql server in order to configure it and add DB. as well as run r in order to install certain package from within inside r.

I think i might need chroot, how is this done in debia-buildn live environment?

Best regards

Dear List

I am new to building Debian from Scratch, Although been using debian for around 6 years. I am currently working on academic project where i need to customise Debain Live XFCE version. I need to install some extra package and upload script scripts for R data mining purpose as well as install apache2 by default. In short i would like to be able to build the Default Debian XFCE from scratch and cstomise that by adding my own packages and scripts. what is the easiest and shortest way to achieve this?

Any help Appericated,

Many thanks List!
