Hi, FWIW here's Tails' implementation for live-build 2.x, using GRUB2's support for reading syslinux configuration: https://git-tails.immerda.ch/tails/tree/config/binary_local-includes/EFI/BOOT/grub/grub.cfg https://git-tails.immerda.ch/tails/tree/config/binary_local-hooks/50-grub-efi-ia32 Depending on what exactly you need to support from the syslinux config, you might need a fairly recent GRUB2.
