Try with jessie.

Thanks.  Jessie works OK today with xfce.  It did not work with gnome on
Nov. 3: the iso built and ran, but the result was defective in the sense
that clicking on "terminal" or "root terminal" led to a whirling icon
for a few seconds, and then nothing happened - no terminal window.
Maybe the problem was specific to gnome, or maybe it has been fixed
since Nov. 3.

First thank you for taking time to test. It means a lot since it is hard for me to test since I have limited bandwidth to download images for testing.

On the cgi frontend it is building with live-build 4.0.2-1 The server is just pulling the debian-next branch of git://live-systems.org/git/live-images.git and building. So I tested on my notebook with a fairly recent debian-next of live-build still showing 4.0.3-1 with lb -v, and on the gnome-desktop I get similar results. So I think it is not related to the cgi builder and related to gnome or gnome packages list.

Thanks.
