Hi jnqnfe,

To be clear, since I haven't attached a patch, the following is the IF
statement in chroot_archives which needs commenting out:

I actually set MIRROR_BINARY different to MIRROR_CHROOT, then those indices are removed. This works for me for the time being. But further improvements are welcome.
