Re: Syslinux Boot Menu



Thanks for your reply. Mine are already renamed with no hypens.

Can it be the boot parameter vga= to clear the screen?

I have seen other distribution like knoppix for example that once you select an option from the menu, the screen is cleared and then the usual messages are displayed in colour. Do not know how to do that...

I remember I had issues with boot menu and to solve it I renamed
linux image and initrd files to get rid of hyphens (-) in file names.

I have used binary hook to do that, see

But I also use my own boot menu files, see
