Which is default installer for debian live - the regular installer or the desktop (d-i)?

I want to have installer for debian live system..What is the default installer for debian live system? Is it the regular one or is it d-i ?

Which installer will be used when i use this command ?

lb config --architectures i386 --linux-flavours 486 --debian-installer live

Will it be d-i or the regular installer that was available with lenny or squeeze systems?
