it appears a recent commit wiped out the manual/de directory:

http://live.debian.net/manual/build.log

cd: 14: can't cd to
/tmp/live-autobuild-manual.el2AW05r/live-manual/manual/de
make: *** [build] Error 2

To work around the problem, you can clone from git and 'make LANGUAGES=en'.
