if you have recent enough live-build (3.0~a30-1 or newer), you can
remove the hook from LB_CHROOT_HOOKS by setting the variable to an
explicit listof hooks, excluding the openssh one.
(in later versions, this will be made analogue to live-config, so you
will be able to specify a 'no-hooks' list of hooks to exclude some hooks.)
if you use an older version of lb, you'll have to locally change
lb_chroot_hooks.
