I think this should be safe. We certainly never intentionally mount /run in a chroot (it's only done at boot time). We also don't do a bind mount on upgrade when in a chroot. However, it certainly wouldn't hurt to do the umount just in case someone else does mount it (but whether this is worth doing, I can't say). Regards, Roger -- .''`.
