that's not what he wants.

live-build to build ubuntu images using casper is somewhat (as in, not
necessarily that version you're using) supported by cody and other guys
from cannonical.

live-build to build ubuntu images using live-boot is not supported at all.

live-build to build ubuntu images using live-boot from live.debian.net
is supported best-effort (means, if you send a patch fixing a problem,
i'll apply it, otherwise i don't really care myself).

you get the idea..
