is the list of ubuntu releases otherwise current as those releases are
all supported, or should some of them be removed?

If you want to prune the list then I would suggest removing Ubuntu releases as they are removed from the primary archive at archive.ubuntu.com. Thus you can safely remove edgy, feisty, and gutsy.

I should note that not all releases are removed after the same amount of time. You might notice that dapper is an older version than edgy, feisty, and gutsy but because dapper was a Long Term Support release it'll stick around until at least June 2011.
