with --packages "<mymailserver>" you can fix that.
When using " --apt aptitude" the process will complete, even though aptitude said you need to 
specify one. In the packagelist I found both bsd-mailx and herloom-mailx btw :-P
Correction: it doesn't complete, but fails on an entirely different point (memtest86+).
Other then that, sid live-images won't work atm (error while booting cdrom_id missing), see bug 
#547149 (and mail from yesterday).

If you replace kde-core with the following section it should work
#if DISTRIBUTION etch lenny
kde-core 
#endif
#if DISTRIBUTION squeeze sid
kde-minimal
#endif
