Experimenting with sid

My lenny build is pretty much where I want it, thought I'd have a look 
at sid.
With -d sid -p rescue, I get:
Package mailx is a virtual package provided by:
  mailutils 1:2.0+dfsg1-4+b1
  heirloom-mailx 12.4-1.1+b1
  bsd-mailx 8.1.2-0.20090911cvs-1
You should explicitly select one to install.
E: Package mailx has no installation candidate
P: Begin unmounting filesystems...

With -d sid -p kde-core, I get:
Couldn't find package kde-core
