Git branches usage change?

Hi,

it seems like 1 week, changes to live-helper's Git repository are
committed to the 'debian' branch rather than to the 'master' branch,
and the snapshot debs are built from the 'debian' branch as well.

Is this intended? Will this go on?
Shall the HEAD now point to the 'debian' branch?
