i cannot reproduce this with current snapshot (1.157.2+20090801.131755).
the newer snapshot compared to yours doens't have anything changed
related to xorg, therefore i suspect some local issues you're having.
could you please try again to reproduce with a minimally customized config?

i'm pretty sure that the above commit is correct. what makes you think
different?
