i use a 2 alix2c3 and 6 alix1 for this, works nicely.

the only bugger on alix1 is the problem with the kernel (needs a patch I
which I couldn't find anymore; otherwise kernel doesn't boot without vga
cable attached, see known issues in the alix1 manual).
