although i never personally tried mepis yet, i heard some good things
about it. you made me curious, so i'll give it a chance later this week.
however, it should not make any difference if someone has a debian.org
address or not; and above comment was about knoppix, which is, from the
technical point, definitely far away from beeing debian.
