[PATCH] add syslinux support for etch

Sorry but it's completely different thing.

debian-cd doesn't support etch anymore (we have a branch for it) and
we do not block it's development to allow backward compatibility.

I strongly disagree with this idea of full backward support even worse
when the changes to the system (one backported package) are so small.

live-helper code would be much nicer to read if we stop to bother
about it and start to move on. People interested on using it with etch
can always do the need backports or use a specific branch.

Besides that, I do think "Etch official releases" won't happen. A
release needs testing and a full release time of fixing the bugs that
will be found during it.

The experience show that we always believe everything will work OK but
after release (if not done properly) we'll start to discover a lot of
"brow bag bugs".
