Noise from fsck

Yes they could lack it, but on not the resulting installation from the default 
debian-live images through the d-i integration at boot time that we have now 
if there is only the filesystem.squashfs on /live in the boot media (the 
default).

It will happen only if the user will use stackable fses ("snapshots" saved 
back in the r-o media at /live) or will install from the live running system, 
which is not yet supported, although it is planned. This because snapshots 
and the runtime system will not have those links in place as you correctly 
guessed.

My solution to just touch the /fastboot file seems to avoid all these 
problems; and seems to be also future-proof, regarding a subsets of future  
init system problems, so if there is not a real reason, I think we should 
just touch that file and do not remove any init script in that case. 
(reverting what live-initramfs does for checkroot.sh).

Anyway, checkfs.sh just checks fstab devices, so why disabling it? I had a 
use-case in mind for that, like using debian-live with a custom /home on HD, 
with a real fstab, so a bootparameter to re-enable fschecking could be 
provided.
