Debian live booting trouble

Hello All,

I'm a new Debian user and I'm facing a little trouble using make-live
script to generate a correct iso image on which I can boot normaly. I
will give you as many information as possible so you get the best chance
to see what's wrong. I couldn't find out, even with the FAQ or even the

live-helper version:
[thomas@~]$ dpkg -l | grep live
ii live-helper 1.0~a17~2250 Debian Live helper programs
rc live-webhelper 1.0~a15~2009 Debian Live helper programs (web

[thomas@~]$ dpkg -l | grep boot
ii cdebootstrap 0.3.15 Bootstrap a Debian system
ii debootstrap Bootstrap a basic Debian system

To have a better view of my trouble, have a look at that screenshot:

So first time I wanted to get an iso image, I tried that way:
[thomas@~]$ sudo make-live
Which generated a debian-live folder with the binary.iso. I didn't
change anything in the config folder except the chroot_local-packages in
which i've add a single deb file:

[thomas@~/debian-live/config]$ ll chroot_local-packages
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 60540 2007-06-27 15:02

You may have a look to the config folder here:

[thomas@~/debian-live]$ ll
total 89892
drwxr-xr-x 5 root root 4096 2007-06-28 10:08 binary
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 91850752 2007-06-28 10:08 binary.iso
drwxr-xr-x 7 root root 4096 2007-06-28 10:05 cache
drwxr-xr-x 20 root root 4096 2007-06-28 10:08 chroot
drwxr-xr-x 15 root root 4096 2007-06-27 14:56 config
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 81920 2007-06-28 10:12 troubledConfig.tar

Thx a lot in advance for your help, and sorry for my english if it looks
