Daniel,
Hopefully all the hardware info in my previous post was of some use in
diagnosing why busybox can boot from the DVD, but the kernel fails?
I'm wondering whether the failure of busybox to find "eject" provides
any diagnostic information? (Not a built-in, and not in the initramfs,
so where would it come from?)
The debian-live DVD boots just fine on other laptops, so it looks like
the kernel doesn't know how to handle this drive?
Erik
