Changing the default shell in casper

Casper installs and
uses //usr/share/initramfs-tools/scripts/casper-bottom/10adduser

You could always patch anything at runtime with a script
in /etc/init.d/custom, linked with update-rc.d .
Otherwise your use case when generalized could bring to a new feature of
casper.
