A DEB package of mediawiki is needed for the WP-MIRROR project.

1) Hiphop virtual machine
Mediawiki is written in PHP and runs faster on the hiphop virtual machine.

2) Lintian
When lintian sees an executable file (permissions 755) that begins
with the shebang line:
#!/usr/bin/hhvm
lintian throws the warning:
W: wp-mirror-mediawiki: unusual-interpreter usr/share/wp-mirror-mediawiki/maintenance/hiphop/run-server #!/usr/bin/hhvm
3) Workaround
Append to
.../wp-mirror-mediawiki/debian/wp-mirror-mediawiki.lintian-overrides
the following lines:
# false positive - hiphop virtual machine
wp-mirror-mediawiki binary: unusual-interpreter usr/share/wp-mirror-mediawiki/maintenance/hiphop/run-server #!/usr/bin/hhvm
4) Requested action
Please update lintian to recognize executable scripts with the above
mentioned shebang line.
