Bug#482795: lintian: should not recommend debian/templates.pot to exist in source

Perhaps I'm missing something here, but it looks like both
translators and the website still expect the templates.pot file to
be there. Wouldn't it make more sense to update the website and i18n.d.n
scripts before removing the lintian check?
