Package: lintian Version: 1.23.32 Severity: wishlist I've noticed a few NEWS.Debian files that contain invalid release fields such as foo (1.0) UNRELEASED; urgency=low I think that the check that verifies the release in changelog.Debian could be extended to check NEWS.Debian as well.
