Here some comments to the d-d mail.

Hmm, perhaps mention now, that they are only available with -I

perhaps give some examples? However, the only good one I can think of
right now is the perl thing.

I would put this more at the top of the list since this is a frontend
change and not just one in the checks.

Otherwise it looks good.
