Hi,
We made a demo for italian lawyers based on
ufficioZero ( http://www.ufficiozero.org/ ),
and presented the first alpha to GL-OS, our
country lawyer's group on opensource/free
software (www.ordineavvocati.org), it's all
only italian, 'cause we're managing the PCT
document format (we're managing it with
eLawOffice, www.sourceforge.net/projects/elawmanager)

PCT means Processo Civile Telematico, is an
italian goverment set of rules to create
documents with xml format to exchange to and
from courts and law firms, digitally signing
'em and crypting 'em with smartcards.

We'r working for it with opensignature,
avilable on sourceforge, made by Antonino
Iacono, to use smartcard on linux and windows
platform ( opensignature.sourceforge.net ).

I hope there could be some share of
knownlegde to manage this project:
at least i've seen no one is already
managing digital sign with smartcards,
so hope u can do it with opensignature.

let me know, cya
