Hello everybody.

I just signed on.  In fact, it was quite a surprise  to find this list
on lists.debian.org; I had visited the page a few months back.

I have been  using debian woody on a stand alone  desktop in my small,
two lawyer office in Kerala (India) for past one year; and it is going
great.

I do a bit of  advocacy, spreading the word about 'swatantra software'
- fortunately,  we  in  India have  a  single  word  for 'free  as  in
freedom', which,  incidentally, is the  common term accross  all major
Indian languages. 

Though not  a programmer, I hope  that I might  be of some use  on the
list.
