Github TOS effecting change to copylefts?

FWIW!

This seems a little over-hyped and that's suspicious, but it's not reddit.

Some projects have taken to extreme(IMHO) measures, removing content.
https://github.com/GNUnet/

If true there may be some repercussions to the Debian Project.

The current TOS state clearly that one must own or have permission of
any content, but it's not clear if a copyleft provides such
permission. It's still possible to find gnunet on github.
