But that's the whole point.  We don't get to choose not to include them,
except by dropping the GDB manual as well.  The problem is not that
the essay is unmodifiable, the problem is that it's stuck to the GDB manual.
If it weren't for that, the essay's non-freeness wouldn't be an issue.
