Isn't License of libsdl(i386) package GPL ?

License of libsdl source is LGPL.
But libio ( a part of glibc) license is GPL with
specital exceptin (As a special exception, if you link this library with files
compiled with a GNU compiler to produce an executable, this does
not cause the resulting executable to be covered by the GNU General
Public License. ) and, libsdl (i386) package is compiled
with nasm and linked libio.
Sine nasm is not GNU compiler ,libsdl (i386) package
license is GPL,isn't it?
