Bonjour Jean-Philippe. You don't need backports for debian jessie. For debian jessie you need the kernel 3.16 If you try to use the kernel 4.3.0.0.bpo you will have only problems. I have also tried to use the kernel 4.3.0.0.bpo and I became only problems. Also I installed new debian jessie and I took the kerenel 3.16 also with lenovo thinkpad edge e540 and see, I didn't have any problems. Sorry, my english is not so good. Je n'aime pas la langue anglaise. Gérard. Am 03.01.2016 um 11:47 schrieb MENGUAL

Then, while touchscreen works, I cannot make the keyboard lock work. It's a useful feature where when you turn you screen to use your laptop as a tablet, the classical keyboard locks. Without this, it's not so usable. I read that a rebuild of kernel is needed. An idea? A firmware? Should I report bugs? Where? To linux kernel? I suspect rather a firmware issue. Regards, |
