Yes I can boot with a live CD. However I don't know what to do next. I have seen posts on the internet about that however its not working. I can tell me step by step what commands I need to type on the Live OS to solve the problem.
>Try into the bios and disable secure boot.>and reinstall if not possible.I have already disable secure boot. I have installed it several times turning different options On and Off but still it does not work.On Mon, Nov 23, 2015 at 10:44 PM, peace angel <peacengell@gmail.com> wrote:Hello Dear,Can you boot using a live dvd/cd so you can install grub onto your system?Try into the bios and disable secure boot.and reinstall if not possible.Let us know how it goes.Regards,--On Mon, Nov 23, 2015 at 10:29 PM, Dwijesh Gajadur <dwijesh1@gmail.com> wrote:DwijeshWith Kind Regards,Please help me to solve this problem. I really need Debian.I know it is possible to install Debian 8 on this laptop because I once did it and succeeded. However I forgot how I did it. I forgot what steps I took the last time.Hello. I have a Dell Inspiron 7537 with UEFI and Windows 8.1 installed on it. I have installed Debian 8 on it however I don't get Grub after installation. I have also noticed that Grub did not install during installation. When I turn ON the laptop, it boots to Windows and Grub does not appear. I have tried to install by turning the Secure boot and fast startup off and I still get the problem.
