Re: laptop hp dm1 3080 problems: clickpad, IDT High Definition Audio CODEC, Realtek smart card reader, Ralink/motorola/broadcom 2011 wifi



Ok so first of all you have a double entry for the backports repos.
Open up your /etc/apt/source.list and remove totally the last two lines

## debian backports
deb http://backports.debian.org/debian-backports squeeze-backports
main contrib non-free

Then try update
apt-get update

and install with
apt-get -t squeeze-backports install linux-image-2.6.39-bpo.2-686-pae
