hi, i've got a toshiba 335cdt laptop and i've a problem with yenta socket when debian is installing. The system crash! like hang up (colgado) and i can't install debian (sarge, etch and sid).

Try using the boot option 'debconf/priority=medium' and tell it to *not* load the 'yenta_socket' module. You'll have to tell it this about three times during the boot. Also, tell it to *not* start the PCMCIA subsystem. These actions will cause it to get beyond the point where you are failing and you'll find it will automatically eventually load 'yenta_socket' and start PCMCIA without trouble. I had this problem on a Toshiba 2515CDS.
