Reboot the notebook ... nothing ... all led on wifi card is blind ...
I give up for this day ... :)

next debugging steps:

1. remove card
2. insert card and wait a few seconds
3. 'lsmod' -> see if the prism54 module gets loaded, otherwise 'sudo
modprobe prism54'
4. 'dmesg' (this prints the logging output of your kernel+modules)
5. ifconfig eth1

if you see no improvement, reply quoting the last few lines of 4 and
everything from 5
