A working configuration:
linux 2.6.19-rc4 patched from 2.6.18 (kernel.org),
patched with suspend2-2.2.8.2-for-2.6.19-rc2
from suspend2.net.
Thinkpad T60, i686, Intel T2400 dualc, Bios Lenovo 1.9/1.5,
fglrx-kernel 8.28.8.2 (debian) (ATI driver)
hibernate 1.93, Debian GnuX unstable (sid)
Special settings:
- swapwriter (didn't try filewriter)
- no initrd
- CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL=y
- CONFIG_CRYPTO_LZF=y
- CONFIG_DISABLE_CONSOLE_SUSPEND=y
- CONFIG_FB_VERSA=y
This doesn't seem to be neccessary, still untested:
- CONFIG_FB_RADEON=M
- CONFIG_FB_RADEON_I2C=y
- CONFIG_I2C_I801=y (I2C support, also ALGOBIT=y)

If you like to try, unset or adapt these:
- CONFIG_PM_STD_PARTITION=/dev/sda6 (swap)
- CONFIG_LOCALVERSION (appended version string)
Consider that rc4 offers native SATA AHCI support which however
conflicts with the legacy CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDE_SATA (so this one =n).

For splashscreen install debian package suspend2-userui 0.6.4-1,
download themes [1] and set in suspend2.conf:
ProcSetting userui_program /usr/sbin/suspend2ui_fbsplash
(check the path!). Test splash with suspend2ui_fbsplash -t
from textconsole (demo mode).
