IBM Lenovo ThinkPad X60 Ethernet NIC is broken

0000:02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82573L Gigabit Ethernet Controller
Debian ETCH 2.6.15-1-686-smp
This Notebook works fine with debian-etch except for ethernet NIC, I found it a Intel 82753L chipset. Using either built-in kernel model(e1000) or driver from Intel Co got same result: receiving packets is fine but sending packets is bad:

I am running apache on this box and my friends complain that my web is too slow.
And all duplex application like ssh is broken.

Now I am using a pcmcia 3com 589 NIC for everyday job but I really want enable my 82753 for its GB capability and never need a crossover wire.

Thanks
