I just didn't want to use susp2 since I haven't seen a single patch
under any debian package (maybe I haven't serached good enaough
either). Besides it appeard weird to me that the regular sw-susp
mechanism embedded in main stream kernel works with other laptops but
dell-insp-600m, :-(.

Any ways, thanks a lot,

Hi all.

I recently upgraded from testing to unstable, and it so happens that
the linux kernel by default on unstable is 2.6.16. With the compiled
version coming with unstable I can now suspend to disk with "acpitool
-S". Not sure what happened in between (2.6.13 - 2.6.16) that this
stopped working, but I have the feature back, :-).

Thanks,

Javier.
