Re: Software and kernel modules for Linksys WPC54G / WPC54GS

I currently bought a dlink gwl630.  It works with the madwifi driver, but you need to compile them from CVS.  I am currently planning on going over to Debian on Christams break, so I don't know how it works there, but I tried it on Ubuntu, with the madwifi drivers compilied.  When plugged in it worked instantly (after assigning the essid and running dhclient ath0), so I would recommend that card so far.

Ok, if ndiswrapper is pain for Linksys WPC54GS what WLAN pcmcia card
would you recommend? I need one that provides a pleasant connection to a
WLAN router and is rather simple to setup and that works good with a
vanilla linux kernel. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Nico.
