Turn on "Enhanced IDE/MFM/RLL disk/cdrom/tape/floppy support" Oh, and to solve my next problem I completely deselected DEVICE DRIVERS--> CHARACTER DEVICES---> 3Dlabs Both of these were googled; I'm definitely not a programmer but it got me past the same error message. I hope this helps. a_dreamer
