Re: Card reader - basic



at a guess, try popping a card in the reader, and do dmesg...

on knoppix 3.6...
my Sony usb drive, and the Memory Stick reader (for a camera) 
show up as /dev/sda, and I just mount them (type msdos)

mount -t msdos /dev/sda1 /media/thingum

on knoppix 3.7... the usb drive shows up as /dev/uba instead, works the same.

These aren´t internal, but usb connected...  ymmv.
